Responsibilities
- Assisting members in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses
- Measuring pupillary distance and other relevant measurements
- Processing orders for eyeglasses and contact lenses
- Verifying insurance information and processing claims
- Adjusting and fitting eyeglasses to ensure proper fit and comfort
- Dispensing eyeglasses and contact lenses to members
- Providing instruction to members on proper eyewear care
- Troubleshooting minor eyewear issues
- Maintaining accurate records of member interactions
- Stocking and organizing eyewear displays
- Cleaning and maintaining optical equipment
- Following department procedures for inventory control
- Providing prompt and courteous member service
- Answering phone calls and responding to member inquiries
- Scheduling appointments for eye exams
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed
- Adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Staying up-to-date on new products and technologies
- Participating in training and development opportunities
- Assisting with special promotions and events
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Handling member complaints and resolving issues
