Required Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
  • Collect and verify employee timekeeping data.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
  • Process new hires, terminations, and employee changes in the payroll system.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve payroll-related problems.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings.
  • Stay up-to-date on federal and state payroll regulations.
  • Assist with payroll audits and compliance reviews.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
  • Process garnishments and other wage deductions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist with year-end payroll processing and W-2 preparation.
  • Update and maintain payroll policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to employees on payroll-related topics.
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Track and post warehouse expenses.
  • Key, review, correct, and update entries to automated payroll system.
  • Prepare journal entries related to payroll.
