Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree (experience)
- Current and valid Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license in Tennessee (experience)
- Good standing with the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy (experience)
- Experience in a high-volume pharmacy setting preferred (experience)
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations (experience)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (experience)

- Proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology (experience)

Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Verify prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage and potential side effects
- Monitor patient medication profiles for drug interactions and allergies
- Maintain accurate inventory of medications and supplies
- Compound medications as needed, following established procedures
- Administer immunizations to patients according to protocols
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and assistants
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding patient medications
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and members
- Answer phone calls and address inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals
- Manage and resolve patient complaints and concerns
- Participate in quality assurance programs to improve pharmacy services
- Stay updated on new medications and pharmacy practices
- Attend continuing education programs to maintain licensure
- Participate in pharmacy meetings and training sessions
- Assist with pharmacy audits and inspections
- Adhere to all Costco Wholesale policies and procedures
- Promote pharmacy services and products to customers
- Collaborate with other departments within Costco to provide integrated healthcare services
- Maintain patient confidentiality and protect patient privacy
- Other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager
