Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in filling and dispensing prescriptions
- Provide customer service at the pharmacy counter
- Retrieve filled prescriptions for customers
- Ring up customer purchases accurately
- Order drugs, supplies, and over-the-counter merchandise
- Stock pharmacy shelves and displays
- Update patient records in computerized system
- Manage inventory levels and conduct audits
- Process invoices and make accounting entries
- Administer immunizations under pharmacist direction per Utah law
- Verify prescription accuracy and completeness
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
