Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree (experience)
- Valid and active Pharmacist license in Washington (experience)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmacy practice (experience)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role (experience)
- Knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations (experience)
- Experience with retail pharmacy operations (experience)

Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct the daily operations of the in-store pharmacy
- Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient counseling and education on medications
- Monitor and manage inventory levels
- Order medications and supplies as needed
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and dispensing activities
- Process third-party billing and insurance claims
- Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Implement and maintain quality assurance programs
- Ensure the pharmacy is clean and organized
- Participate in staff training and development
- Conduct performance evaluations of pharmacy staff
- Manage the pharmacy budget and expenses
- Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pharmacy services
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement
- Stay up-to-date on new medications and therapies
- Attend professional meetings and conferences
- Maintain professional licensure and certifications
- Act as pharmacist-in-charge, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee controlled substance management and security
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy efficiency and profitability
- Manage pharmacy staff scheduling and workload distribution
- Serve as a liaison between the pharmacy and other departments within Costco
- Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities
- Assist with the implementation of new pharmacy services and programs
