- Retrieving prescriptions from the pharmacy shelves
- Ringing up customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Processing payments and handling cash transactions
- Answering phone calls and addressing customer inquiries
- Assisting pharmacists with processing and selling prescriptions to customers
- Ordering and stocking drugs and over-the-counter merchandise
- Maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy area

- Verifying patient information and insurance details
- Entering data into the pharmacy computer system
- Preparing prescription labels and packaging medications
