Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack deliveries of drugs, supplies, and over-the-counter merchandise
- Verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and invoices
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring proper rotation and organization
- Straighten and face merchandise to maintain an attractive and organized appearance
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock items to the pharmacy manager
- Clear and clean aisles and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient environment
- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with inventory-related tasks
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks to move and transport merchandise
- Label and price merchandise accurately
- Remove expired or damaged merchandise from shelves
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts
- Provide excellent customer service to pharmacy customers
- Answer customer questions about product availability and location
- Assist customers with locating merchandise in the pharmacy area
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to pharmacy regulations and company policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the pharmacy manager or supervisor
- Process returns and exchanges of merchandise
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
