- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring proper rotation and placement
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy area
- Remove expired or damaged merchandise from shelves
- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with inventory management tasks
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and store inventory
- Label shelves and merchandise with pricing and other information
- Assist customers with locating merchandise in the pharmacy area
- Answer customer questions about over-the-counter medications and health products
- Process customer purchases at the cash register
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions
- Prepare and submit inventory reports to management
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Participate in regular inventory audits
- Assist with the training of new pharmacy stockers
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding order discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
- Provide excellent customer service
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Monitor temperature and humidity levels in the pharmacy area
- Properly dispose of hazardous waste materials
