Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack shipments of drugs, supplies, and over-the-counter merchandise
- Verify accuracy of orders and report discrepancies
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise
- Rotate stock to ensure freshness and prevent expiration
- Organize and maintain inventory in storage areas
- Clean and straighten merchandise in the pharmacy area
- Assist customers with locating products
- Answer customer questions and provide information about products
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to supervisor
- Process returns and exchanges
- Price and label merchandise
- Assist with inventory counts
- Maintain records of stock levels and orders
- Dispose of expired or damaged merchandise
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians as needed
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Participate in training and development programs
