Responsibilities
- Checking damaged, deleted, and defective goods
- Entering return-to-vendor inventory into the computer system
- Obtaining vendor return authorization for items
- Preparing items for shipment back to the vendor
- Packing and labeling items for shipment
- Verifying shipment accuracy
- Tracking shipments
- Communicating with vendors regarding returns
- Maintaining accurate records of returns
- Following company procedures for returns processing
- Ensuring compliance with vendor return policies
- Inspecting returned items for damage or defects
- Sorting and organizing returned items
- Restocking returned items in the warehouse
- Assisting with inventory control
- Assisting with warehouse cleanup
- Operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift)
- Following safety procedures
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed
- Responding to inquiries from other departments
- Providing excellent customer service
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Participating in team meetings
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
