- Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
- Operate pharmacy equipment and software systems.
- Assist with third-party billing and insurance claims processing.
- Assist with medication reconciliation and adherence programs.
- Provide drug information to patients under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Assist with sterile and non-sterile compounding.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Participate in quality assurance programs.
- Identify and report medication errors or discrepancies.
- Assist with training new pharmacy staff.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and documentation.
- Assist in processing incoming and outgoing shipments of medications.
- Monitor and track inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocks.
- Assist with the disposal of expired or recalled medications.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising pharmacist.
