- Prepare medications for dispensing, including counting, pouring, and labeling
- Package and label medications according to pharmacy standards
- Maintain accurate inventory of medications and supplies
- Receive and stock incoming shipments of medications
- Assist with inventory management and ordering procedures
- Answer telephone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues
- Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment
- Operate pharmacy equipment and software systems
- Assist with quality assurance and medication safety initiatives
