Responsibilities
- Install new tires on vehicles
- Balance tires using balancing equipment
- Rotate tires according to vehicle manufacturer recommendations
- Repair tires, including patching and plugging
- Inspect tires for damage and wear
- Check and adjust tire pressure
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist customers with tire selection and recommendations
- Provide excellent customer service
- Operate tire mounting and demounting machines
- Use hand and power tools to perform tire services
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Maintain inventory of tires and supplies
- Stock tires in designated areas
- Process customer payments
- Answer customer questions and concerns
- Schedule tire service appointments
- Prepare work orders and invoices
- Perform vehicle inspections related to tire services
- Dispose of used tires properly
- Keep up-to-date on tire industry trends and technologies
- Collaborate with other team members
- Participate in training programs
- Troubleshoot tire-related issues
