Credit Analyst Levels Overview

• Credit Analyst II: Coordinates credit reviews, supports monitoring, and assists with reports.

Key Responsibilities

As a Credit Analyst at Williams, your daily impact will include:

• Analyzing the creditworthiness of new and existing counterparties using financial documents and ratio analysis to recommend or approve credit limits up to your Delegation of Authority.
• Processing issuance and amendments of collateral instruments to mitigate risks.
• Monitoring credit exposures against established limits and reviewing accounts receivable for potential issues.
• Reviewing, approving, and managing new counterparty contracts and amendments.
• Handling counterparty inquiries on internal and external credit exposures with professionalism and accuracy.
• Producing comprehensive reports on credit activities, operations, and trends for leadership.
• For Sr level: Overseeing daily operations, training new employees, and mentoring team members.
• For III level: Providing feedback on operational improvements and mentoring junior staff.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business.
• Credit Analyst II: Minimum 3-5 years in Finance/Accounting/Business.
• Credit Analyst III: Minimum 5 years; preferred Master's degree, 7+ years oil & gas, CPA.
• Credit Analyst Sr: Minimum 7 years; preferred 10+ years oil & gas experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong PC skills.
• Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Keen attention to detail and deep understanding of financial statements and ratio analysis.
