Role Overview

The CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM Associate Consultant is an embedded technical advisor partnering closely with strategic customers to maximize their investment in CrowdStrike's Next-Gen SIEM. This remote role in Texas combines deep technical expertise with strategic consulting to drive adoption, optimization, and operational excellence. You'll handle planning, deployment, implementation, and support of customer Next-Gen SIEM environments, leveraging the Falcon platform's cutting-edge capabilities. Key Responsibilities

Customer Partnership & Strategy

Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned strategic accounts, building trusted relationships with customer security teams and leadership. Deeply understand their workflows, use cases, and objectives while mentoring on SIEM best practices and threat hunting techniques using Falcon insights.

Technical Implementation & Optimization

Guide customers through Next-Gen SIEM deployment, configuration, and integration. Optimize data ingestion, design custom detection rules, correlation searches, dashboards, and reports. Assist with migrations from legacy SIEMs like Splunk or QRadar, perform health checks, troubleshoot issues, and identify automation opportunities. Track KPIs and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Qualifications & Requirements

Technical Skills

Require 2+ years in security operations, SIEM administration, or security engineering. Familiarity with major SIEM platforms (Next-Gen SIEM, LogScale, Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, Chronicle), query languages (SQL, SPL, KQL, CQL), detection engineering, common log sources (Windows, Linux, network, cloud), scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), and EDR concepts.

Soft Skills

Exceptional communication to explain complex concepts, strong presentation skills, self-motivation, customer focus, independent remote work ability, and sharp problem-solving.

Bonus Points

CrowdStrike Falcon and Next-Gen SIEM experience, certifications (CCFA, CCFH, CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, CEH), consulting background, SOAR, or threat intelligence knowledge.
