Role Overview

The CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM Associate Consultant is an embedded technical advisor partnering closely with strategic customers to maximize their investment in CrowdStrike's Next-Gen SIEM. This remote role in Canada combines deep technical expertise with strategic consulting to drive adoption, optimization, and operational excellence. You'll handle planning, deployment, implementation, and support of customers' Next-Gen SIEM environments, leveraging the Falcon platform's cutting-edge capabilities. Key Responsibilities

Customer Partnership & Strategy

Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned strategic accounts, building trusted relationships with customer security teams and leadership. Gain deep insights into their workflows, use cases, and objectives while mentoring on SIEM best practices and threat hunting techniques using Falcon Next-Gen SIEM.

Technical Implementation & Optimization

Guide customers through deployment, configuration, and integration of Next-Gen SIEM. Optimize data ingestion, design custom detection rules, correlation searches, and tailored dashboards. Assist with migrations from legacy platforms like Splunk or QRadar, conduct health checks, troubleshoot issues, and identify automation opportunities. Track KPIs and contribute to internal best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

Technical Skills

Require 2+ years in security operations, SIEM administration, or security engineering. Familiarity with SIEM platforms like Next-Gen SIEM, LogScale, Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel, or Chronicle. Proficiency in query languages (SQL, SPL, KQL, CQL), detection engineering, common log sources (Windows, Linux, network, cloud), scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), and EDR concepts.

Soft Skills

Exceptional communication to explain complex ideas, strong presentation skills, self-motivation, customer focus, independent remote work ability, and sharp problem-solving. Bonus: CrowdStrike certifications (CCFA, CCFH), consulting experience, CISSP/GCIA/GCIH/CEH, SOAR, or threat intelligence knowledge.
