Crusoe's mission is to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. We’re crafting the engine that powers a world where people can create ambitiously with AI — without sacrificing scale, speed, or sustainability. Be a part of the AI revolution with sustainable technology at Crusoe. Here, you'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that’s setting the pace for responsible, transformative cloud infrastructure.
Crusoe Energy is seeking a Campus Project Controls Manager to support the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects, including complex data center campuses. This role is responsible for ensuring strong financial and cost controls across one or more campuses, partnering closely with construction managers, general contractors, and vendor teams. This is a pivotal role, ensuring that our data center projects remain on track, within budget, and aligned with our strategic objectives.
The Campus Project Controls Manager plays a hands-on role in managing budgets, forecasting cash flow, reviewing contractor pay applications, and maintaining disciplined cost and change management processes. This position is ideal for a project controls professional who thrives in fast-paced construction environments and brings strong analytical rigor, attention to detail, and clear communication skills.
As a Campus Project Controls Manager, your day will be dynamic and multifaceted. You might start by reviewing the latest cost reports to identify potential budget overruns. Then you may work with construction managers to develop mitigation strategies. A significant portion of your day will involve analyzing contractor pay applications to ensure accuracy and compliance. You'll also spend time collaborating with stakeholders, providing clear, timely reporting, and offering data-driven recommendations to leadership and Crusoe clients. You’ll be working to ensure compliance across contracts, purchase orders, and invoices, focusing on cost hygiene and audit readiness.

You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the industry and contribute to projects that are shaping the future. San Francisco also offers a vibrant culture, diverse communities, and a high quality of life, making it an attractive place to live and work.
At Crusoe Energy, we're committed to fostering growth and development for our employees. As a Campus Project Controls Manager, you’ll have numerous opportunities to advance your career. You could potentially move into a Senior Project Controls Manager role, overseeing multiple campuses or leading a team of project controls professionals. Alternatively, you could transition into a Project Management role, taking on broader responsibilities for project delivery. Crusoe supports ongoing training and development, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to reach your full potential.
Crusoe Energy offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. The estimated salary range for this role in San Francisco is $140,000 - $210,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
