CNC Operator, 2nd Shift - Crusoe Energy Systems

Role Overview

Crusoe Energy Systems is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Operator to join our 2nd shift team in Arvada, Colorado. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for the daily operation of our Laser, Punch, and panel bender machines, playing a vital role in the production of high-quality components for Crusoe Fabricators. This position requires a strong understanding of CNC machinery, blueprint interpretation, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Day in the Life of a CNC Operator

On a typical day, you will start by reviewing work orders and programs to ensure accuracy and verify the required materials. You will then set up the machinery, load feed mechanisms with sheet metal, and enter or modify programs as needed. Before starting full production, you will run tests to ensure the machine is operating correctly and producing parts to the specified dimensions. Throughout the shift, you will inspect machinery and products for quality, making adjustments as necessary. You will also perform routine maintenance on the machines, replace or sharpen tooling, and maintain an inventory of tooling supplies.
