Role Overview

As the Associate, Commercial Energy Development, you will play a pivotal role in Crusoe's mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence by supporting the development of a robust pipeline of GW-scale energy and infrastructure projects. These projects will support next-generation compute campuses. Your responsibilities will include partner engagement, preliminary due diligence, deal execution support, market analysis, and executive reporting within our Energy Development Group. You'll be a key player enabling infrastructure to support high-performance computing and AI workloads, helping Crusoe pioneer reliable, energy-first compute at scale.

• Morning: Begin your day by reviewing the latest market trends and regulatory updates in the energy and AI sectors. You'll analyze these developments to identify potential opportunities and threats for Crusoe's energy development strategy.
• Mid-day: Engage in discussions with potential partners and counterparties to validate project details and assess their alignment with Crusoe's criteria and objectives. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technical Development, Real Estate, and Power Infrastructure, to ensure alignment between pipeline development and Crusoe’s long-term goals.
• Afternoon: Focus on project due diligence, vetting early-stage projects to identify key risks and mitigation pathways. You'll also support Commercial Leads in deal analysis, structuring, and negotiation. Prepare reports on project status and performance for executive review.
