As a Commercial Energy Development Associate, you will be a vital part of the Energy Development Group, contributing to the development of GW-scale energy and infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will span from initial opportunity sourcing to supporting deal execution, ensuring Crusoe remains at the forefront of sustainable data center development.

A Day in the Life

Here’s what a typical day might look like:

• Morning: Start your day by reviewing the latest energy market trends and regulatory updates. You'll analyze potential impacts on Crusoe's business strategies and prepare recommendations for proactive adjustments.
• Mid-day: Engage in discussions with potential counterparties and partners to validate project details. You'll assess their fit with Crusoe's criteria and objectives, ensuring alignment with our long-term goals.
• Afternoon: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Technical Development, Real Estate, and Power Infrastructure, to drive alignment between pipeline development and Crusoe’s objectives. You’ll manage and synthesize critical project data, such as costs, schedules, and deal terms, to support executive reporting.
• Evening: You may wrap up the day by supporting the interconnection application process and property tax abatement negotiations, ensuring compliance and maximizing value for Crusoe.
