Director of Engineering & Reliability at Crusoe Energy Systems

Role Overview

Crusoe Energy Systems is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Engineering & Reliability to lead our efforts in ensuring world-class uptime, performance, and scalability for our hyperscale AI and high-performance computing (HPC) data centers. This critical leadership role will be responsible for establishing and governing enterprise engineering design standards, leading reliability engineering programs, and developing asset lifecycle strategies across our expanding data center portfolio. As the Director of Engineering & Reliability, you will collaborate closely with Construction, Facility Operations, Commissioning, Design/Engineering, and Executive Leadership to drive engineering excellence and operational readiness.

A Day in the Life

As the Director of Engineering & Reliability, your day-to-day activities will be diverse and impactful. You might start your day by reviewing engineering design standards and providing guidance to the design/engineering team. Next, you could be leading a reliability engineering program meeting, discussing FMEA, RCM, and RCA strategies. Later, you could be analyzing system performance models to optimize capacity and readiness. You'll also be involved in technical audits, quality assurance programs, and engineering evaluations across different campuses.
