About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to champion safety across our power operations. Based at our data center power plant in Abilene, TX, you will be a vital member of the Power Operations Team, potentially traveling to other locations as needed. You then collaborate with the Power Operations Team to assess risks associated with upcoming maintenance on a turbine. After the meeting, you develop a detailed action plan to mitigate those risks. The afternoon might involve conducting a training session on electrical safety for new hires, followed by an audit of a worksite to ensure compliance with regulations. You'll also be actively investigating a near-miss incident, collecting data and leading a root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. You’ll end the day documenting your findings and preparing a report for management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending further safety enhancements.
