Crusoe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Cost Estimator to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving cost modeling and ensuring financial accuracy across our capital projects. You will play a critical role in delivering predictable outcomes by pairing detailed cost estimation with proactive cash flow forecasting, directly supporting Crusoe’s global growth in the AI and sustainable technology sectors. This position is based in San Francisco, California.
As a Senior Construction Cost Estimator, your day will involve a variety of tasks focused on ensuring accurate and reliable cost data for our data center projects. You will lead end-to-end estimating efforts, from the early planning stages through construction execution. This includes developing robust cost models that align with design intent, scope evolution, and delivery strategies. You'll collaborate with design, procurement, and delivery teams to validate quantity take-offs and unit pricing. Furthermore, you will build and maintain project cash flow forecasts to support financial planning, budget tracking, and funding requests. You'll also be responsible for providing detailed estimates for CSA, MEP, and mission-critical systems for both domestic and international builds. Analyzing variances, modeling cost impacts due to design changes, procurement risks, or schedule shifts, and delivering concise cost reports to executive stakeholders will be key components of your daily activities.
