Role Overview

The Crusoe Cloud Network Engineering team is seeking an ambitious and experienced Staff/Senior Staff Network Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and operating the global edge, backbone, and data center network for High Performance Compute (HPC) Clusters with GPUs. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-directed, and eager to work on cutting-edge technologies related to sustainable computing. Excellent analytical and communication skills and a strong team player attitude are essential.

As a Staff/Sr. Staff+ Network Engineer, you will be a vital part of the Architecture Network Engineering team. You will play a key role in building, leading, and mentoring a team of high-performing Network Engineers. Your responsibilities will include developing technical architectures and solutions that meet the growing needs of Crusoe Cloud. This involves gathering requirements from the business, seeking feedback from key stakeholders, and translating business needs into comprehensive network designs. This is an on-site role based in either San Francisco, CA, or Sunnyvale, CA, requiring regular in-office presence.

A Day in the Life

• Design, build, operate, and optimize Crusoe Cloud's global network infrastructure, encompassing edge, backbone, data center, and public cloud connectivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Software Infrastructure and Product, to drive innovation and the evolution of the Crusoe Cloud network.
• Work closely with external vendors and ISPs to rigorously test and verify device and carrier selections.
