Inventory Control Coordinator, Weekend Shift - Crusoe, Arvada, CO

Role Overview: Inventory Control Coordinator

As an Inventory Control Coordinator on the weekend shift, you will be pivotal in maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring smooth production operations. Your responsibilities will include managing materials within the ERP system, overseeing finished goods inventories, and conducting regular physical inventories. Accuracy and efficiency in this role are critical to supporting our manufacturing processes.

Day in the Life of an Inventory Control Coordinator

Your day will be dynamic and multifaceted, including these key activities:

  • Inventory Transaction Management: You will handle the movement of inventory for multiple projects, meticulously documenting each transaction. Ensuring proper procedures are followed before and after any inventory movement. Managing transactions within the WMS/ERP to match the physical movement of goods. You'll be identifying discrepancies and performing root cause analysis to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Inventory Control and Accuracy: You will conduct cycle counts to control inventory accuracy, minimizing variances. You will perform monthly cycle counts of material and products, ensuring adequate inventory levels in accordance with established cycles and organizational philosophy. You'll be double-checking Bills of Materials for projects taken to production to ensure all parts are present.
  • Production Floor Support: You'll be running parts to the production floor to support ongoing operations. You will issue parts to jobs per specifications and kit jobs for production. Your role includes unboxing all parts and grouping like materials on the job cart together. Additionally, you will be pulling sheet metal for the CNC operators to speed up production times.
  • ERP System Management: You'll be using the ERP system to accurately track materials, ensuring data integrity and reliable reporting.
  • Inventory Planning and Management: You will assist in planning the full inventory annually and support the management and disposal of surplus materials and scrap.
  • Warehouse Assistance: You will provide assistance to the warehouse where needed, including receiving, unloading trucks, cleaning, and picking up the lot.
