As an Inventory Control Specialist on the 2nd shift, you'll play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and availability of materials needed for Crusoe's operations. You'll be responsible for managing inventory transactions, conducting cycle counts, supporting the production floor, and utilizing the ERP system to track materials. A Day in the Life

Here's what a typical day might look like for you:

• 4:00 PM: Start your shift by reviewing the production schedule and identifying any material needs for upcoming jobs.
• 4:30 PM: Process material requisitions and issue parts to the production floor, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory tracking.
• 5:30 PM: Kit jobs for production, grouping like materials together on job carts to streamline the assembly process.
• 6:30 PM: Assist CNC operators by pulling sheet metal and staging materials for their machines, reducing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
• 7:30 PM: Conduct cycle counts in the warehouse to verify inventory accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
• 8:30 PM: Investigate and resolve any inventory variances, performing root cause analysis to prevent future errors.
• 9:30 PM: Update the ERP system with inventory transactions, ensuring accurate records of material movements.
• 10:30 PM: Assist with receiving and unloading trucks, verifying the accuracy of shipments and storing materials in their designated locations.
