We are looking for a talented and experienced Legal Counsel Director to join our team and play a crucial role in our real estate development and data center initiatives.
As the Legal Counsel Director, you will be a key member of our legal team, responsible for providing legal guidance and support for our large-scale real estate developments and project financings. You will report directly to the Assistant General Counsel - Real Estate Development & Data Centers and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and strategic legal support across all of Crusoe’s data center development projects.
This role demands a strong understanding of real estate law, contract negotiation, power procurement, and construction financing. You will be involved in all stages of real estate transactions, from site selection and due diligence to contract drafting and closing. Your expertise will be essential in mitigating legal risks and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Crusoe Energy offers a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The estimated salary range for this role is $180,000 - $280,000 annually. Our benefits package includes:

The Legal Counsel Director will be responsible for providing legal guidance and support for Crusoe's large-scale real estate developments and project financings, including negotiating and drafting contracts, conducting due diligence, and advising on regulatory matters.
Candidates must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, active bar admission in any state, 5-7 years of experience working on real estate acquisitions and power procurement, and knowledge of construction financing and loan due diligence processes.
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills, strong judgement, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this role.
Experience with data center or large-scale development projects is strongly preferred.
