Role Overview

The Legal Counsel Director – Real Estate Finance and Data Centers will play a pivotal role in supporting Crusoe's large-scale project financings and real estate developments. Reporting directly to the Assistant General Counsel - Real Estate Development & Data Centers, the Legal Counsel will spearhead contract drafting, negotiation, and execution of project finance transactions and real estate acquisition matters. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders is crucial to ensure timely and strategic legal support across all of Crusoe’s data center development projects.

As the Legal Counsel Director, your day might include:

  • Reviewing and negotiating complex real estate transaction agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and easements.
  • Conducting legal due diligence on potential data center sites, assessing title, survey, and environmental reports.
