Role Overview

As a Principal Network Engineer at Crusoe, you will be a key member of the Architecture Network Engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and operating our global network infrastructure. This includes our edge, backbone, and data center networks supporting High Performance Compute (HPC) clusters with GPUs. You will lead and mentor a team of high-performing Network Engineers, translating business requirements into innovative and scalable network designs. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies and gaining invaluable experience in HPC-based data center networking on a massive scale.

A Day in the Life

• Design, build, operate, and optimize Crusoe Cloud's global network, including edge, backbone, data center, and public cloud connectivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Software Infrastructure, Product) to drive the innovation and evolution of the Crusoe Cloud network.
• Work with external vendors and ISPs to test and verify device and carrier selection.
• Develop technical architectures and solutions to meet the growing needs of Crusoe Cloud.
• Gather requirements from the business and key stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into network designs.
• Build, lead, and mentor a team of high-performing Network Engineers.
• Participate in the Crusoe Cloud network global on-call rotation.
