Role Overview

As a Project Controls Operations Intern, you will support the Project Controls organization in strengthening process clarity, workflow efficiency, and data visibility across large-scale capital projects. This role is ideal for a candidate interested in the intersection of infrastructure delivery, data analytics, and operational excellence. You will work closely with Project Controls, Cost Controls, Scheduling, Construction, Finance, and Project Management teams.

A Day in the Life

• Documenting Project Controls workflows across cost, schedule, change management, and reporting.
• Creating standardized process maps, swim lanes, and cost controls playbooks for project execution.
• Assisting with data reporting setup for cost, schedule, and project performance metrics.
• Supporting the development of dashboards and reporting views (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Smartsheet).
• Translating raw project data into clear, leadership-ready insights.
• Building and maintaining a DIG team roster to improve stakeholder communication.
