Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our growing Project Engineering team. This role will focus specifically on the power generation aspects of our large-scale data center projects and digital flare mitigation projects, encompassing electrical and mechanical systems. You will play a critical role in the planning, design, execution, and commissioning of power generation systems, ensuring reliable and efficient power delivery to our data centers.

This position requires a strong understanding of power generation technologies, mechanical engineering principles, and project management methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, and experience with large-scale power generation projects.

A Day in the Life

As a Project Engineer, your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Supporting the Project Engineering team in the development and execution of power generation projects, from concept to commissioning.
  • Contributing to the design and specification of power generation systems, including generators, switchgear, transformers, piping systems, heat exchangers, pumps, and associated auxiliary systems.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering firms, contractors, and vendors, to ensure project success.
  • Performing detailed engineering calculations and analyses related to power systems, including load flow studies, short circuit analysis, and protective device coordination.
  • Reviewing and approving engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation.
