Crusoe: Sales Development Intern, Summer 2026 - San Francisco, CA

About Crusoe

Crusoe's mission is to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. We’re crafting the engine that powers a world where people can create ambitiously with AI — without sacrificing scale, speed, or sustainability.

Be a part of the AI revolution with sustainable technology at Crusoe. Here, you'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that’s setting the pace for responsible, transformative cloud infrastructure.

About the Role: Sales Development Intern

Crusoe.ai is looking for an ambitious, recent, or upcoming college graduate to join our Sales Development team as a Sales Development Intern. This role is designed as a career launchpad, offering a deep dive into the mechanics of a high-growth Go-To-Market (GTM) team in the AI Cloud space. You will work directly with our Sales Leadership and SDR team to learn sales fundamentals, how to leverage a modern sales technology stack, and execute special projects that directly improve our GTM operations.

What You’ll Learn & Do

Sales Fundamentals & Strategy

  • The Art of Outreach: Learn how to research, identify, and engage high-potential leads within the AI/ML, Robotics, and Scientific Research industries.
  • Master the Message: Work with Sr SDRs, Account Executives, and Sales Leadership to understand the Crusoe value proposition and how to craft compelling, personalized messaging that resonates with our target market.
  • Pipeline Management: Learn the mechanics of the sales funnel—from initial lead identification to qualifying opportunities and booking meetings.

Sales Technology Mastery

  • The Modern Stack: Gain hands-on experience and proficiency in a world-class sales stack, including Salesforce, Apollo, Lemlist, Sumble, and Trellus.
  • AI-Augmented Sales: Learn to leverage the latest AI models (Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, ChatGPT) to optimize your research and outreach workflows, staying at the forefront of "AI for Sales."

Special Operations & Strategy Projects

  • Process Improvement: You will be assigned specific projects aimed at improving team efficiency. This might include optimizing lead identification methods, pipeline reporting and analysis automations, creating agentic sales workflows that reduce operational or administrative workloads for sellers, or performing data hygiene in our CRM.
  • Sales Play Construction: Conduct deep research into current targeting and messaging performance, form a POV on new outreach opportunities the team could be doing, and put them to the test. You will be a scientist in our outbound lab.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

  • Growth Mindset: You are a "student of the game" who is eager to receive coaching, act on feedback, and constantly refine your skills.
  • Communication Skills: You are a confident communicator—both written and verbal—who can distill complex technical concepts into simple, benefit-driven language.
  • Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable navigating new software and are genuinely excited about how AI is changing the professional landscape.
  • Resilience & Drive: You have a proactive "owner" mentality and aren't afraid to pick up the phone or try a new cold outreach strategy to find results
