Job Description

Senior Category Manager, Storage at Crusoe

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. We’re crafting the engine that powers a world where people can create ambitiously with AI — without sacrificing scale, speed, or sustainability. Be a part of the AI revolution with sustainable technology at Crusoe. Here, you'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that’s setting the pace for responsible, transformative cloud infrastructure.

Role Overview

As the Senior Category Manager, Storage, you will be the driving force behind Crusoe's world-class AI Cloud storage infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring that our storage platforms are high-performance, scalable, and resilient. You will own the end-to-end commercial and supply chain strategy for our entire storage category, making it a high-impact and highly visible position within the company. This is more than just purchasing; it's about developing long-range category plans, leading complex negotiations, and architecting a supply chain that supports our rapid global expansion. Partnering with Storage Engineering, Infrastructure, and Data Center Operations leadership, you'll build a cost-effective storage ecosystem that powers the future of computing.

A Day in the Life

Imagine starting your day by analyzing the latest market trends in NAND flash memory. You'll then participate in a strategy meeting with engineering to discuss the upcoming generation of storage servers. After lunch, you'll lead a negotiation with a major storage OEM, working to secure favorable pricing and capacity for the next quarter. The afternoon will be spent reviewing demand forecasts and adjusting inventory plans to ensure optimal availability. Finally, you'll prepare for an executive QBR with one of our key suppliers, focusing on performance and continuous improvement.
