Role Overview

As the Senior Manager, Commercial Negotiations, you will be at the forefront of securing the massive power capacities required to drive the next generation of computing. You will serve as the lead negotiator for our most critical energy assets, driving the commercial terms for utility-scale thermal agreements that power Crusoe’s multi-hundred MW hyperscale footprint. • Spend several hours negotiating the terms of a multi-hundred MW thermal Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with an Independent Power Producer (IPP). This includes discussing pricing, risk management strategies, and curtailment rights.
  • Analyze nodal pricing data to optimize procurement timing and pricing strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with power generators and transmission providers to maintain a robust pipeline of energy opportunities.
  • Prepare a presentation for senior leadership outlining the key commercial trade-offs and potential risks associated with a proposed energy procurement strategy.
