Crusoe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team as the founding engineer of a new Enterprise Software Engineering function within IT. This is a unique opportunity to build internal tools, automations, and integrations that solve real operational problems across the business, working directly with the Director. You will leverage AI-assisted development as your primary workflow, delivering production-quality software rapidly and establishing the technical foundations for future hires. Your responsibilities will extend to defining specs, context, and reusable patterns that guide AI agents, while also writing hands-on code for the most challenging problems.

A typical day for the Senior Software Engineer may include:

• Collaborating with Finance, Operations, and HR teams to understand their needs and identify automation opportunities.
