We build modular data centers that utilize otherwise wasted energy sources, like stranded natural gas, to power energy-intensive computing processes such as cryptocurrency mining and AI model training. This approach reduces waste, lowers emissions, and creates economic opportunities in areas that previously lacked them. We are at the forefront of the energy and technology convergence, and we are looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our team.

Role Overview

As the Sr. Manager, Air Compliance - Data and Systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring Crusoe's environmental compliance related to air quality. You will be the subject matter expert on air regulations, particularly those related to emissions from engines and combustion sources. This position requires a deep understanding of environmental regulations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. You will be responsible for developing and implementing processes to track, report, and manage air emissions, as well as leading the implementation of an Environmental Management System (EMS). This role is based in Denver, Colorado, and requires a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

A Day in the Life

Your day might start with reviewing air permit applications for new Crusoe sites, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will then analyze emissions data from existing operations to identify potential areas for improvement and ensure accurate reporting. Later, you will collaborate with the Operations team to troubleshoot any air quality compliance issues and develop solutions. You will also be responsible for managing stack testing programs, reviewing test plans, and ensuring data quality. Another key aspect of your role will be developing and delivering environmental training programs to Crusoe personnel. You will participate in audits, incident investigations, and regulatory meetings to ensure Crusoe maintains a high level of environmental compliance. Finally, you will spend time working with the Environmental team to develop data collection strategies and dashboards within the Environmental Management System (EMS).
