As a Staff Electrical Engineer at Crusoe, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming complex customer requirements into production-ready electrical designs for modular integrated electronics buildings and standalone power distribution equipment. This is a working leadership position where you'll create precise electrical documentation and provide expert technical guidance throughout the entire product development lifecycle. Your day will be a dynamic blend of technical design, project leadership, and team mentorship. You'll start by reviewing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, ensuring they meet the required specifications and safety standards. You'll then collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing teams to resolve any design challenges and optimize solutions. A significant portion of your day will be dedicated to guiding and mentoring junior electrical design engineers, providing them with the technical expertise and professional development opportunities they need to excel. You'll also participate in design reviews, conduct load calculations and coordination studies, and identify opportunities for cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency improvements. You'll conclude your day by planning and allocating resources for upcoming projects, ensuring that the electrical engineering team is well-prepared to meet its goals.
