This role focuses on building and operating Slurm as a fully managed cloud service within Crusoe Cloud. A Day in the Life

As a Staff Software Engineer, your day-to-day activities will include:

• Leading the development and engineering of our managed Slurm offering.
• Contributing to the development of scalable and robust software solutions aligned with the Crusoe Cloud roadmap.
• Designing, building, and maintaining Kubernetes operators and controllers for managing large-scale Slurm clusters.
• Driving the integration of GPU acceleration in the Slurm environment.
• Ensuring high-performance networking technologies are correctly leveraged for distributed GPU workloads.
• Implementing and managing features such as multi-tenancy, cluster lifecycle management, auto-scaling, and high availability.
• Participating in code reviews, contributing to proposals, and drafting architecture documents.
• Evaluating tools and frameworks for their impact on reliability, scalability, operational costs, and ease of adoption.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
