Job Description

Technical Program Management Intern (IT & Security Department), Summer 2026

Crusoe's mission is to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. We’re crafting the engine that powers a world where people can create ambitiously with AI — without sacrificing scale, speed, or sustainability.

Be a part of the AI revolution with sustainable technology at Crusoe. Here, you'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that’s setting the pace for responsible, transformative cloud infrastructure.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and highly organized Technical Program Management (TPM) Intern to support the planning, tracking, and communication of critical projects across our IT and Security departments. This role is a hands-on opportunity to learn how a TPM office operates in a fast-paced startup environment, focusing on project governance, visibility, and process maturity.

The Intern will be the primary engine for maintaining data integrity in our project tracking systems, ensuring our leadership always has an accurate, real-time view of our initiatives. Additionally, the intern will take a lead role in supporting a highly visible and impactful project required by the department, providing a unique opportunity to drive a critical initiative forward while gaining significant exposure to departmental leadership.

A Day in the Life of a Technical Program Management Intern

Imagine starting your day by reviewing the IT and Security Jira boards. You're on a mission to ensure every ticket – from tasks to epics to initiatives – is perfectly linked, categorized, and labeled. You’re not just checking boxes; you're ensuring the integrity of the data that drives critical decisions. Next, you dive into backlog grooming, working alongside the TPM to prepare for prioritization meetings, ensuring no detail is overlooked.

The afternoon brings a mix of communication and problem-solving. You contribute to the weekly Activity Report, summarizing the team's accomplishments, highlighting upcoming milestones, and flagging any potential risks. You then facilitate a team standup, capturing progress updates, identifying blockers, and coordinating dependencies. Your day might also involve process improvement, identifying ways to streamline Jira workflows or enhance team communication. You could be researching best practices for vendor security reviews or helping with SOX compliance readiness. No two days are the same, and you're constantly learning and growing.
