The Customer Supply Executive position at PepsiCo in Shanghai, China, is a pivotal role for managing supply chain coordination for our top four Snack Store customers. As the key owner, you will bridge internal teams and external partners to ensure full-rate order management, seamless execution, and superior customer service. This role involves close collaboration with Global Key Account Managers (GKAM), Key Accounts (KAs), Supply Chain, and field teams to set sales plans, develop forecasts, and monitor end-to-end processes from production to delivery. Externally, you will build joint business plans with customers' business units and supply chains, while educating and training Field DC and TDS on order tracking. This is an opportunity to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced food and beverage environment, achieving service levels over 90% and forecast accuracy above 65%.
Work closely with GKAM and KAs to establish yearly, quarterly, and monthly sales plans. Develop monthly Latest Estimates (LE) for production and replenishment. Coordinate with Business Unit Business Planners (BUBP), Supply Chain, and Field Planners for joint monthly and weekly forecasts. Pre-plan for major events like Customer Pack supply, New Product Development (NPD) launches, and Chinese New Year (CNY) warehouse strategies, ensuring flawless execution.
Communicate with customers' BU/Field Order Centers and Supply Chains to create joint business plan forecasts and sales phasing aligned with KA campaigns. Maintain close ties to update on new Distribution Centers (DCs) and store openings, integrating data into systems with field teams.
Conduct joint forecasts following 306090 principles, maximizing demand fulfillment. Advise on replenishment and inventory management, including auto-replenishment parameters and seasonal strategies. Identify exceptions via Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR). Track orders, receipts, rejections, and resolve issues with logistics. Monitor sales performance with tracking tools and share monthly Order Fulfillment Rate (OFR) and Out-of-Stock (OOS) reports.
To succeed in this role, candidates need a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in a customer service environment or Key Account (KA) management. You must be data-sensitive, capable of working under pressure, self-motivated, and hardworking. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential for building strong relationships internally and externally. Familiarity with supply chain processes, forecasting tools, and the food & beverage sector in China is highly advantageous.
