The Customs & Trade Senior Analyst position at PepsiCo in Purchase, New York, is a pivotal role within the Global Customs & Trade team. This full-time position serves as the primary point of contact for managing day-to-day U.S. customs operations and compliance for foreign Importers of Record (IOR), specifically for PCS and CMSPL entities. The role encompasses overseeing import activities from pre-clearance to post-entry, managing customs broker relationships, monitoring duty payments, and supporting preference program analysis. Manage duty payments, customs valuation, and reconciliation processes for accurate, timely filings. Review valuations to align with transfer pricing and support productivity initiatives for duty cost reductions, especially for new products or market entries.
Conduct origin qualification analyses under Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) to enable duty savings. Determine tariff classifications for raw materials and finished goods per PGCS GCT protocols. Advise on tariff implications for product innovations.
Lead preparation and maintenance of CTPAT/AEO certification for supply chain security. Develop SOPs, identify automation opportunities, and support new C&T initiatives for enhanced efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
A Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Law, Business Administration, or a related field is required. US CBP Licensed Broker certification is highly preferred. CTPAT/AEO training is beneficial.
Minimum 10 years in cross-border activities at world-class companies, with hands-on experience using FTAs, duty programs, and customs systems. Proven track record in process improvement is advantageous.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and SAP. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal/written communication to articulate complex ideas to all organizational levels. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure setting, with a passion for global trade compliance and ethical standards.

Base salary ranges from $76,400 to $127,850 USD annually, with actual pay based on experience, skills, and location. Eligible employees receive an 8% target performance bonus paid annually.
