    The Advanced Technical Specialist- Repair & Re-Fielding Center for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for performing the repair process of field returned instruments at RRC and Ensuring high quality of RRC instruments through effective implementation of Repair process and ensure the increase in productivity of RRC and Maintain the RRC center to align with QRA requirements.

    This position is reported to the Manager-Re-fielding Services & Technical Training-SWA and is part of the Customer Support department at our Repair and Re-fielding center in Chennai and will be onsite.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Ensuring high quality of Repair process of all the Instruments by Improving the quality, efficiency, safety, and 5S performance of the Repair & Re-Fielding center.
  • Exercise independent judgement in RRC activities through tracking Depot repair work orders in the system and maintaining all documents in alignment with QRA requirements.
  • Ability to mentor and provide peer assistance and supervise team, deploy training plans to promote flexibility for RICO process.
  • Handle Internal customer complaints and develop preventive measures; perform internal non-conformance investigations.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedure, Job Safety Analysis and use lean tools and participate in projects for continuous improvement.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above of Biomedical Engineering Medical diagnostics background is preferred. BE / BTech / Diploma
  • Minimum 7 years working experience on IVD Service function.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in handling Installation, PM, and repair activities of Diagnostics instruments either in Repair/Refurbishing center or in the field.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Hands-on experience in repair activities of Beck DX Instruments.
