The APAC Finance Business Partner is responsible for the budgeting and forecasting of the APAC countries, and ensuring the internal and external reporting of the assigned legal entities is correct.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, APAC Finance and is part of the APAC Finance team located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Prepare the monthly forecasts and annual budget for the assigned legal entities.
• Partner with the Commercial and Operational teams to provide financial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations that support data-driven decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy by analysing business trends, key performance drivers, and underlying assumptions.
• Prepare and present monthly performance reviews to management, highlighting variances versus budget, risks, and opportunities.
• Work with the Finance Shared Service centre and outsourced providers on the internal and external reporting, including financial controls compliance, ensuring all deadlines are met.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Applicable experience and achievements in finance area (knowledge of accounting rules, IFRS and US GAAP, including SOX)
• Experience of FP&A (budgeting and forecasting)
• English language skills enabling both free verbal & written communication.
• Advanced user of ERP systems and MS Office with strong presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful insights and actions.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel – occasional international travel may be required (maximum 10%)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in work with auditors and Tax authorities
• Establishing business relationships while working collaboratively across multiple teams.
• Experience supporting any other European or Asian countries.
