The first shift Assembler I (Cabin Air) builds basic components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies to blueprint and work instructions. The role is part of the Air value stream. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, and overtime is routine.

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.  U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.  Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Set-up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment within a continuous production/processing operation.

  • Measure, build and assemble components per SOPs, schematics, blueprints, engineering orders, and job sheets using basic measuring equipment (i.e. calipers, scale, thermometers, high gauge, etc.).

  • Work with and mix chemicals, oils, and solvents as stated within the SOPs, learn and become proficient in working with 2-part epoxies, and process parts in an explosion proof room.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of one (1) year of related experience

  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing or assembly related environment working with and mixing solvents, oils, and chemicals.

  • Basic Math Skills (i.e. Shop Math) and experience producing parts to blueprint, verbal and written work instructions, and using and reading calipers to make precision measurements.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Pass a basic vision test.

  • Bending, lifting, standing, sitting, and twisting for long periods of time. Required to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.

  • Good eye and hand dexterity.
