The production group manager is responsible for managing a group in the production division to ensure products are made efficiently, meet quality standards and stay on schedule.

This position reports to the production manager and is part of the production division, located in and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Supervises and oversees the direct manufacturing operations and warehouse coordination in terms of safety, quality, productivity, on-time delivery to external customers with the intent of continuous improvement and leading results to achieve sustainable plant goals.
• Ensures the shipment goals, business goals, customer requirements and production plans are achieved.
• Updates SQDIP – metrics reporting, daily management. Leads daily management to drive sustainable, continuous improvements in Safety, Quality, Productivity, On Time Delivery, and materials management.
• Report necessary countermeasures and problem-solving data to management in the daily management walkthrough and reviews.
• Leads day and off-shift operations and on-call responsibilities, including weekend shift coverage rotations.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor and lead by example; ability to influence decision making with or without authority, facilitate groups with diverse perspectives, bring teams to agreement. 
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills that build productive relationships and influence others, both within the business and across organizations.

• 生産的な関係を構築し、社内および組織全体で他の人に影響を与える対人スキルを実証する。

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 5+ years leadership role at manufacturing plant experience or equivalent.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Strong analytics & critical thinking
• Technical Understanding
• Experience of leading Kaizen activities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
