Position Summary

Nationwide in Japan, we provide and promote high-quality cooling system repair services, aiming to achieve customer satisfaction and meet individual or team revenue targets and KPIs.

The scope of responsibility for the assigned personnel is specialized in repairing the cooling systems of cryostats within the Leica Biosystems product. Additionally, they possess knowledge of domestic laws, hold relevant qualifications, and ensure compliance with domestic regulations.

Achieve high customer satisfaction in cooling system repairs while ensuring timely, professional repairs through effective, efficient, and safe work practices. Provide telephone and remote support to Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and partner companies to minimize customer downtime.

Serve as the expert and reliable resource for cooling system repairs for other Field Service Engineers (FSEs) within Japan.

Major Responsibilities

•  Specializes in in-house cooling system repairs. 

•  Prepares and processes accurate reports, manages inventory, and handles other related administrative tasks. 

•  Collaborates closely with business units and other LBS field service teams to enhance reliability and analyze feedback for technical support in cooling systems.

Skills & Experience

Skills and Experience

• Experience in cooling system repair (experience in the medical device field is preferred)

• Knowledge of and repair experience with cooling systems and machinery is a plus

• Knowledge of and repair experience with electrical systems is a plus

• Ability to communicate effectively within the company for problem-solving

• Ability to communicate for schedule coordination with Field Service Engineers (FSEs) and reporting work progress

• Ability to safely carry and move loads up to 25kg

Education Experience as a service engineer in the education sector (requires junior college degree or equivalent technical work experience)

Experience repairing cooling systems, machinery, and electrical equipment

Travel: Repairs will be handled in-house.

Language:  Japanese (Business Level)
