The Inside Sales Team Lead is responsible for managing a team of Inside Sales Representatives covering North America. This role ensures profitable growth in sales, revenue through planning, execution and management of a supportive team. This position reports to the Inside Sales Manager of the AMR Sales Team and can be remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead, coach, and develop an Inside Sales team to grow bookings and revenue, build a healthy pipeline, and improve conversion across assigned territories.
  • Supervises and directs staff which would include employee hiring, training, evaluations and discipline as well as ensure execution of sales duties.
  • Set goals and objectives for team members in accordance with regional and global sales strategy: identify and organize the customer base, deploy sales strategy in the territories; recommend and implement action plans; share information internally; identify and leverage new business opportunities
  • Analyze effectiveness of key initiatives, strategies, objectives, and goals leveraging various Danaher Business System tools such as Visual Management, Daily Management, and Action Plans
  • Provide sales forecasting, establish sales goals, and pipeline management for the assigned territories leveraging Funnel Management
  • Work collaboratively with the Field Application Scientific teams, Product Management teams, Commercial Excellence teams, and Sales Leadership teams to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Demonstrates and upholds behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values and delivers the Integrated DNA Technologies experience to customers and other business associates.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience in a Life Science related discipline or related field required OR Business degree with relevant life science industry experience OR Master’s degree in a life science field
  • 3+ years of Life Science sales experience preferred (remote or in-person)
  • Understanding of tactical and strategic sales skills and the progression of customers through the buying cycle.
  • Occasional travel will be required (10-20%)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience and proficiency with popular CRM’s (Salesforce) preferred.
  • Molecular Biology or similar lab experience
  • Sales Team management experience in custom product and / or one of these domains of application that are NGS, CRISPR, Synthetic Biology or qPCR/dPCR

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

The Inside Sales Team Lead is responsible for managing a team of Inside Sales Representatives covering North America.
