Leica’s Nano Technology (LNT) product line delivers industry-leading solutions for precision sample preparation in electron microscopy. Featuring a comprehensive portfolio supporting biological, medical, and industrial applications, Leica Microsystems delivers workflow-optimized systems tailored to the specific requirements of TEM, SEM, and AFM users. Each solution integrates multiple instruments into a seamless workflow to ensure efficiency and consistency in sample preparation.

The LNT Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market presence for Leica’s LNT products across South Korea. This role includes developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing channel partners, building/maintaining customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to meet and exceed business goals.

This position reports to the Sales Director of Leica Microsystems Korea and is part of the IND/LNT Division, based in Seoul. The role covers the entire country and requires frequent domestic travel, along with occasional international travel.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Competitive salary based on your experience and performance achievements, and additional severance pay for employees with more than five years of continuous service.

  • An opportunity to take ownership of the LNT business in Korea, working closely with cross-functional teams locally and collaborating with regional and global counterparts.

  • A potential to advance into a Divisional Manager role upon demonstrated capability and performance.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of customers such as universities, research institutes, hospitals, and industrial clients.

  • Willingness to learn basic EM imaging workflows; prior experience is helpful, but a learning mindset is equally valued

  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, tenders, and key accounts in various fields (e.g., core facilities, universities, hospitals, industrial sectors); results-driven mindset with funnel conversion experience using SFDC or other CRMs

  • Comfortable using English in written communication and occasional meetings. Full fluency is not required; openness to improve is appreciated

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel up to 30%, sometimes including business trips.

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and comply with safe driving and zero-tolerance DUI policies.

  • Ability to safely move and position LNT equipment at event or customer sites as needed during on-site activities such as demonstrations or trade shows.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Native proficiency in Korean is required; strong English-speaking skills are a plus.

  • Familiarity with electron microscopy and sample preparation is a plus. Willingness to learn and build expertise through training is equally valued.

  • Prior experience with distributor or channel partner management is a plus.
