The Logistics Operations Specialist role is responsible for guaranteeing a smooth transition of product from suppliers to Global Life Sciences Solutions New Zealand (Cytiva) and then to the customer, satisfying our internal and external customer needs.

Location: This position reports to the Logistics Manager and is part of the ANZ Logistics team located in Tauranga, New Zealand (Whakamārama 3180) and will be an on-site role.

What you will do:

• Liaise with suppliers, Logistics providers and Cytiva associates to ensure the smooth running of the logistics day-to-day operations.
• Complete all documentation required for export and import and be familiar with Overseas Market Access Regulations (OMARS), and MPI E-Certs.
• Maintain appropriate stock control in our in-house warehouse and at our 3PL warehouses as well as maintain inventory spreadsheets updated and perform cycle counts.

Who you are:

• An experienced supply chain or logistics person with manufacturing experience as well as a well-organized person who aligns to our culture of Transparency, Diversity and Trust.
• An experienced person with import/export role, familiar with MPI ED/E-Certs system and Quality/CGMP principles.
• Experienced with the warehouse environment, cycle counts, and inventory control.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Must be an experienced forklift operator
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25kg, and work in the freezer (-20 Celsius) PPE is provided. 

It would be a plus if you also:

• Have experience with an ERP system
• Are an Intermediate/advanced Excel user
• Have Regulatory experience
