This position reports to the Director Operations and is part of the Manufacturing Operations located in Pune and will be an on-site role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement robust production and material planning strategies
• Align planning activities with sales forecasts, manufacturing capabilities, and customer requirements.
• Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure cross-functional alignment and responsiveness.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of 10 associates including planners, buyers, storekeepers, and logistics personnel.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance customer service levels and working capital efficiency.
• Oversee procurement planning to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Monitor delivery performance and proactively resolve supply chain bottlenecks.

• Ensure KPIs such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), Working Capital Turnover (WCT), Forecast Accuracy, and Procurement Efficiency are consistently met or exceeded.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

• Collaborate with commercial, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to align planning with customer expectations and market dynamics.

• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across planning, procurement, and logistics functions.

• Ensure customer demands are met with KPIs maintained at top priority levels.

Qualifications:

• B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Supply Chain/Industrial or related)
• MBA or Psot Graduation in Supply Chain will be an added advantage.
• 13-15 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, preferably in manufacturing or filtration technologies.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex planning environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and advanced planning tools.
• Hands-on experience with AOS planning and KPI management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
